FAQs

Get in touch if I haven’t covered your questions here:

  • Currently I only ship within the UK.

There are no additional charges for UK postage.

I’d love to transport my creations around the world one day so watch this space for updates.

  • I’m a tiny independent business predominantly making unique pieces or those of a custom nature. I therefore cannot accept returns or issue refunds in most cases.

Please ensure you have read and understood the Terms of Service before making any purchases.

I’ve taken great care in making my pieces and have provided lots of information about the metals used and how they can be cared for. I hope this enables you to make an informed choice pre-purchase but I’m very happy to answer any questions you have before purchasing.

If you’re not sure about sizing, please get in touch; it’s important to get this right whether buying for yourself or as a gift.

I really hope you enjoy your pieces as much as I love making them. I can work with you to resolve things such as the scenarios below:

Suspect a genuine fault: please contact me as soon as possible after receiving the item so that we can establish the problem and resolve it together.

Custom sizing: items made to a specific size will not be accepted for return or refund so please make sure you are certain of your sizing before ordering. I may be able to resize an item for you but it will incur additional costs, including return postage.

Accidental damage: accidents happen! Obviously I can’t accept any responsibility for pieces once in the hands of the receiver but if you’ve had an accident, lost, broken or scratched your pieces, I’m happy to have a chat about what can be done to restore it for you. This will incur costs, including any return postage.

  • If there are designs that you like but are sold out or not in your size, please contact me about a custom piece. I make everything by hand and don’t mass produce and therefore everything is a little bit different :) I can make you something completely unique in a similar style to any of my products listed, or take a look through my gallery for inspiration. I will provide a quote valid for 7 days (metal prices are crazy variable these days!) and take it from there.

Lead times on custom pieces vary depending on the nature of the designs and what other commissions I happen to be juggling at the time. I don’t start work on a custom piece until we have mutually agreed the design concepts, costs and have received a deposit to secure the time and materials.

  • Don’t worry! You might not have missed out; I may be able to make you a similar custom piece. Drop me an email or DM through my Instagram page.

Some of my creations are described as being ‘made to order’; this is because I don’t want to overproduce items that are resource heavy. It helps limit waste and manage my finances (as a small independent I cannot afford to hold items in stock without guaranteed sales).

  • It’s really important that you review this as not all of my custom pieces can be resized without compromising the design or remaking from scratch (incurring additional costs).

I work to UK standard ring sizing and there are several ways that you can find your size:

    • For best results, go to a local jeweller to be sized.

    • Order a ring sizer online (I don’t supply these as they are usually made from plastic but they are pretty cheap and easy to find).

    • Refer to ring sizing guides to measure your ring size. There are lots of freely available downloads online but be aware that they require printing at the correct scale and are never as accurate as being sized in person by a jeweller. There are various ways to do this:

      • Use an existing ring to template the inner circumference.

      • Wrap a piece of paper around the intended finger, secure with tape at the ‘required’ size. Carefully cut the strip off and measure the length of the paper strip; this will give you the internal diameter of the ring size required.
