Terms of Service

Please ensure you have read and understood the Terms of Service prior to making any purchases.

1. General Information

This website/shop is operated by Second Spring Jewellery & Metalcraft. Throughout the site, the terms “I”, “me”, "we", "us", and "our" refer to Second Spring Jewellery & Metalcraft. The terms “you”, “your”, “buyer”, “purchaser”, “customer” refer to the user of this website.

We offer this website, including all information, tools, and services available from this site to the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here.

2. Products

All of our jewellery is handmade, and due to the nature of this process, there may be slight variations in each piece. We have made every effort to display the colours and details of our products as accurately as possible. We cannot guarantee that your device's display will show the exact colour.

We expect that you review all the information provided about the materials used to make our jewellery, including the ongoing care advice, so that you can make an informed choice before purchasing whether the item(s) is(are) suitable for you.

It is your responsibility to ensure that any items available on this website meet your requirements before you decide to purchase them.

3. Pricing and Payments

  • All prices are shown in UK Pounds Sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of VAT where applicable.

  • The price displayed is the total price for the item, including delivery costs within the UK.

  • We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. Payment is due in full before your order can be processed and dispatched.

  • We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors and will notify you if an error affects your order.

4. Orders

  • Placing an order is an offer to purchase. When you receive a confirmation email, this is an acknowledgement that your order has been received, not that your offer has been accepted.

  • A contract between you and Second Spring Jewellery & Metalcraft is only formed when your order is accepted, processed, and dispatched.

  • If we cannot fulfil your order for any reason, we will inform you and provide a full refund if payment has already been taken.

5. Delivery

  • We aim to dispatch orders of already made items within 3-5 working days of receiving your payment.

  • We cannot specify a dispatch timeline for custom bespoke orders in generic terms of service since each custom project will have different complexities and fabrication times.

  • At the point you begin a conversation with Second Spring Jewellery & Metalcraft regarding a custom order enquiry, we will advise an estimate on lead time for completion prior to taking any payment, such that you can decide whether to proceed with the custom order or not.

  • In the event of confirming a custom order, we will communicate with you regarding the completion of the piece prior to shipping.

  • Delivery times are estimates and not guarantees. We are not responsible for delays caused by the courier.

  • Second Spring Jewellery & Metalcraft sends jewellery via a tracked service using the address given by you, the customer. Upon failed delivery, it is the customer’s responsibility to contact the delivery courier to resolve the issue. Please contact us if you receive poor support from delivery companies.

  • We will pack orders with care to protect them during transit. The delivery company is responsible for care of items in transit. For items damaged in transit please contact the delivery company first to establish whether compensation is available. Contact us if you receive poor support from them.

  • Risks of damage or loss passes to you upon delivery.

6. Returns, Cancellations, and Refunds

Every care has been taken to make our pieces to a high standard. You are responsible for reviewing all of the information about the product(s), and the materials and care information provided on this website to make sure our product(s) are suitable for you.

  • Non-Returnable Items: Custom-made or personalised items are exempt from the right to cancel, return or refund unless they are genuinely faulty.

  • Incorrect Sizing: It is your responsibility to ensure the items are sized to your requirements prior to purchase. However, should your item not fit as expected, please contact me. Some items may be possible to resize for an additional fee. You will cover this cost plus any return postage costs.
